En las maquinas que utilizamos en Hostinet para albergar los planes basados en gestores de contenidos (CMS), usamos el software LiteSpeed<\/strong><\/a> como servidor. De esta forma, conseguimos que proyectos web construidos con Joomla<\/strong> funcionen a una velocidad mucho mayor; se incrementa el rendimiento hasta en un 300%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

LiteSpeed dispone de un sistema de cach\u00e9 integrado que permite atender muchas m\u00e1s peticiones de forma constante<\/strong>, lo que lo convierte en una opci\u00f3n muy interesante para quienes buscan obtener el\u00a0m\u00e1ximo rendimiento y la mayor velocidad para su site Joomla.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Por lo general, LiteSpeed ya provoca que el alojamiento web gane unos segundos de carga<\/strong>, pero si adem\u00e1s empleamos el plugin<\/strong> que LiteSpeed<\/strong> ha desarrollado para Joomla, este permite aumentar todav\u00eda m\u00e1s la velocidad de carga de la web<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

LSCache para Joomla<\/strong><\/h2>\n

El plugin se llama LSCache<\/strong> y se puede descargar de forma gratuita de la web oficial de su desarrollados mediante el Paso 2 (Step 2)<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de GitHub<\/a>.\u00a0Vemos que no ha sido actualizado hace m\u00e1s de 1 a\u00f1o, por lo que no estar\u00eda de m\u00e1s que lo actualizaran, pero bueno\u2026<\/p>\n

En este art\u00edculo vamos a indicar como subir y revisar el Plugin LSCache en Joomla<\/strong>. Obviamente primero tenemos que descargar el plugin<\/strong> de la web de su desarrollador mediante GitHub<\/a> como hemos comentado previamente y despu\u00e9s subirlo a Joomla<\/strong> mediante su panel de administraci\u00f3n, pero antes de ello debemos revisar en dicho panel si en la secci\u00f3n Extensiones<\/strong>, subsecci\u00f3n\u00a0Plugins <\/strong>(filtrando por System), NO tenemos activado ning\u00fan otro plugin de Cach\u00e9 que pueda generar un conflicto con LSCache<\/strong>, como por ejemplo\u00a0JotCache<\/em>. En nuestro caso no tenemos ning\u00fan otro plugin, as\u00ed que podemos proceder a subir LSCache a nuestro Joomla sin problemas. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Para subir LSCache a Joomla<\/strong> nos vamos hasta\u00a0Extensiones<\/strong>\u00a0->\u00a0Gestionar<\/strong>\u00a0->\u00a0Instalar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Seleccionamos la pesta\u00f1a\u00a0\u201csubir archivo del paquete\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0y arrastramos el archivo con el plugin a la venta que aparece o lo buscamos en nuestro ordenador.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Cuando lo instalemos aparecer\u00e1 el siguiente mensaje:<\/p>\n

Instalar paquete se ha realizado correctamente.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ahora, podemos revisar si el plugin se ha instalado correctamente. Para ello, nos vamos a\u00a0Extensiones\u00a0 -> Plugins (1), y buscamos el plugin tecleando \u201clitespeed (2)\u201d<\/strong>. Si esta como en a la siguiente captura de pantalla es que su activaci\u00f3n marcho estupendamente:<\/p>\n

A continuaci\u00f3n, en Sistema<\/strong>\u00a0->\u00a0<\/strong>Configuraci\u00f3n global (1)<\/strong>\u00a0->\u00a0<\/strong>Litespeed Cache (2)<\/strong>, podemos encontrar las opciones avanzadas del funcionamiento de la cach\u00e9 de Joomla<\/strong>. A pesar de que hay varias pesta\u00f1as en la parte superior de este apartado, no tenemos que tocar nada, ya que el plugin viene con las caracter\u00edsticas habilitadas por defecto.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado, en Componentes<\/strong>\u00a0->\u00a0<\/strong>Litespeed Cache (1),<\/strong>\u00a0podremos purgar elementos de la cach\u00e9 o vaciarla de forma global<\/strong> si as\u00ed lo necesitamos.<\/p>\n

\"joomla<\/p>\n

Todo ello a trav\u00e9s de la barra superior en la que por ejemplo podemos purgar toda la cach\u00e9 mediante el bot\u00f3n \u201cPurge All Cache\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"joomla<\/p>\n

Por lo tanto, lo \u00fanico que tenemos que hacer es descargarnos el plugin LSCache y subirlo a Joomla<\/strong>, ya que no hay que tocar nada m\u00e1s en ning\u00fan sitio, puesto que todo lo necesario ya viene habilitado de serie con la activaci\u00f3n de LSCache. Tan sencillo como descargarnos el plugin y subirlo a Joomla<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANTE: Para que el plugin de LiteSpeed funcione en Joomla es necesario que el servidor de Hostinet donde se aloja esta instalaci\u00f3n tenga una licencia activa de LiteSpeed.
