PrestaShop es una aplicaci\u00f3n de comercio electr\u00f3nico totalmente gratuita y de c\u00f3digo abierto por lo que podremos descargar, instalar y mantener una tienda online sin coste alguno. PrestaShop est\u00e1 equipado con plantillas, m\u00f3dulos y m\u00e1s de 275 funcionalidades en su n\u00facleo, que adem\u00e1s pueden ser extendidos.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el c\u00f3digo abierto?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El c\u00f3digo abierto es un modo de distribuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo de tal manera que el acceso al software es libre para la comunidad de desarrolladores que podr\u00e1n modificarlo y mejorarlo. Que el c\u00f3digo sea abierto hace que la plataforma se pueda extender m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidamente, que las mejoras en la aplicaci\u00f3n fluyan y que la seguridad y estabilidad del n\u00facleo de la aplicaci\u00f3n sea mayor.<\/p>\n
