C\u00f3mo usar Google Fonts en Prestashop<\/h1>\n

Google Fonts<\/a> es un servicio de Google que permite a desarrolladores web y dise\u00f1adores gr\u00e1ficos utilizar un amplio banco de tipograf\u00edas de manera gratuita para sus proyectos<\/strong>. La ventaja de utilizar estas tipograf\u00edas en entornos web radica en que hoy en d\u00eda en la inmensa mayor\u00eda de navegadores modernos se pueden interpretar de manera fidedigna cualquiera de los textos publicaos en Internet que hayan utilizado este tipo de fuentes. Todo ello sin que los usuarios visitantes de la p\u00e1gina tengan que tener previamente instalada esa fuente en sus equipos.<\/p>\n

Navegando con Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera y las \u00faltimas verisones de Internet Explorer <\/strong>vamos a poder leer de manera correcta y manteniendo la composici\u00f3n cualquier texto que utilice las fuentes de Google Fonts, lo cual es un recurso que multiplica las posibilidades est\u00e9ticas para alguien que est\u00e9 creando una web.<\/p>\n

Si tenemos una tienda online en Prestashop sabremos de la importancia del uso de im\u00e1genes de calidad y buenos textos para acompa\u00f1ar a nuestros productos<\/strong>, y la importante que resulta un dise\u00f1o adecuado y armonioso tanto para convencer al cliente de que compre nuestros productos. Utilizando Google Fonts en Prestashop vamos a poder diferenciarnos de la competencia mejorando nuestros t\u00edtulos y llamadas a la acci\u00f3n y haciendo que simplemente con algo tan sencillo como cambiar la tipograf\u00eda de nuestra web podamos mejorar nuestras resultados y conversiones.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 tienes que hacer para usar las fuentes de Google Fonts en tu Prestashop?<\/h2>\n

En primer lugar debemos acudir al sitio web oficial de Google Fonts<\/a> para elegir la tipograf\u00eda que nos parezca m\u00e1s correcta para el uso que le vamos a dar. tenemos multitud de tipos de letra, as\u00ed en un primer momento seguro que nos lleva un buen rato qeudarnos con la fuente m\u00e1s deseada<\/strong>. Por ejemplo, podemos buscar un tipo de letra dentro de la categor\u00eda Serif<\/em> (con serifas) y dentro del grosor subiremos la barra de nivel para conseguir una fuente con un aspecto m\u00e1s pesado.<\/p>\n

En este caso hemos elegido la tipograf\u00eda Alegreya<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Para poder usarla nos qeudaremos que se genera pinchando en la tipograf\u00eda y que nos sugiere lo siguiente:<\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo utilizar los c\u00f3digos de Google Fonts en Prestashop?<\/h3>\n

En nuestro Prestashop tendremos que editar el archivo del dise\u00f1o o theme que estemos utilizand<\/strong>o, siempre realizando antes una copia de seguridad para evitar que haya problemas si nos equivocamos. Concretamente tendremos que buscar el archivo header.tpl <\/strong>dentro de nuestra carpeta del tema instalado.<\/p>\n

En ese archivo buscaremos la siguiente l\u00ednea de c\u00f3digo<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Y justo debajo a\u00f1adiremos la l\u00ednea anteriormente empleada como ejemplo<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

El segundo paso a realizar es a\u00f1adir el c\u00f3digo del CSS que define en la hoja de estilos las fuentes empleadas<\/strong>, podemos buscar l\u00edneas que contengan la orden font-family, que se refiere a la fuente empleada en ese titular, enlace o elemento.<\/p>\n

Por ejemplo nos podemos encontrar con una l\u00ednea de este tipo que hace que determinado titular con la etiqueta h2 utilice una fuente eleginda, en concreto Arial y en su defecto la fuente serif:<\/p>\n

En nuestro caso deberemos susitituir un tipo de letra por otro<\/strong>, como indica el ejemplo siguiente:<\/p>\n

Si guardamos los cambios realizados y actualizamos nuestro sitio web veremos al momento la nueva tipograf\u00eda y su resultado en nuestra tienda Prestashop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
